Can we trust the Newspaper?

This is the example I get to show the "information" we read. Let look at these news below. They are reporting the crowd of the gathering for the same event at the same place.

CNN - 40,000 people

I ask my friend, "What can we fully trust on the thing post in the newspaper?"

He think for a while and answer me, "The gambling result! Result of TOTO, Magnum, 3+1D, Jackpot"

    maybe malay mail need to develop and print the newspaper more faster than other company, when they due their newspaper, only 1/5 of the people enter the crowd event.

    Then continue by the 20,000 people.

    Then CNN got the news lastly, so, they knew it was 40,000.
